Every meal on this retreat is wholesome, fresh, and sourced from some of SLO's best local vendors - as healthy or indulgent as you want it to be. It's a chance to immerse yourself in SLO's food culture, not just fuel up between sessions. Since this isn't a diet retreat, if one of the town's best sweet treats catches your eye, it's fair game.
FUEL THE ADVENTURE
SUNSET DINNER
On your final evening, we head into the hills for a catered dinner overlooking all of San Luis Obispo - the coastline, the valley, the whole trip laid out below you as the sun goes down. This might genuinely be the most breathtaking part of the entire retreat. Whenever Tom or Alex bring family and friends up here, it's almost always the moment they remember most.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is included every morning of the retreat, Tuesday through Saturday, at Hotel Cerro's Oak Grill. It's coastal California cuisine done right — fresh, seasonal plates built around produce pulled straight from the hotel's own on-site garden, alongside brunch classics for those slower mornings. No planning, no separate charge, no hunting down coffee before training. Just show up, eat well, and start the day right.
HOW MEALS WORK
5 breakfasts and 3 dinners are included in your stay, plus a farmers market night and a free evening to explore SLO on your own - a full week of food taken care of, with room to do your own thing too.
Welcome Dinner
Your retreat kicks off with a welcome dinner at one of SLO's best local restaurants - included, no planning required. Meet the group, settle in, and get a taste of what the week ahead is all about.
Taco Tuesday at Luna Red
Tuesday night, we head to Luna Red for their famous Taco & Tiki Tuesday - a downtown SLO favorite. Craft tacos, good company, right by Mission Plaza.
Free Evening, Wednesday
Wednesday night is yours. We'll point you toward some of our favorite spots in SLO, but where you go is up to you.
Farmers Market, Thursday
Thursday night, downtown SLO shuts down Higuera Street for the farmers market - five blocks, 120+ local vendors, and the longest continuously running night market in the country. Fresh produce, incredible street food, live music. Wander at your own pace, eat what looks good, and see why locals call it the best night of the week.
Farewell Dinner, Friday
Your final night is the sunset dinner above SLO.
